Andrew Fisk our Managing Director will be braving Baltic conditions when he spends the night sleeping on the streets, to experience what it's like to be homeless. Andrew has joined forces with fellow IT professionals to organise what will be the biggest outdoor sleep-over ever seen in the region.
Dubbed Byte Night, it is taking place at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead on the 2nd October, and all money raised will be donated to the charity Action for Children, which works with young people who are affected by poverty, disability, abuse and neglect.
Andrew said: "I was involved in an event similar to Byte Night last year and I found it to be a fantastic experience, hence the reason I joined the board this year. Byte Night provides businesses with the opportunity to focus their minds away from the day to day issues of achieving success and spend a small amount of time thinking and, more importantly, helping those who are not as fortunate. I really hope we can get more business from Northumberland involved"
